This weekend's Keiki Resources Fair at the Blaisdell Exhibition Hall drew a bevy of babies, children and parents. The Movement Center had their student dancers give an exhibition of dances yesterday. Waiting to perform were 4-year-olds Lauren Bloom, Jadie Giel, Morgan Alexich and Kylie Yamauchi. The fair continues today from 9 a.m.-4p.m.

Japan International Karate-Ki Center students gave an exhibition under the direction of Kiyohisa Hirano. They included, at front left, Ty Nakamoto, 10, Kekoa Shirota-Ho, 5, and Becky Takahashi, 12; and in back from left, Kevin Replogle, 12, Kayo Brown, 11, and Jaymee Lau, 11.



BOUNCING FOR BENEFIT

Heather Zemina, Deanne Soon and Stacy Thompson jumped around in a bouncer at the Ohana Festival held at Mililani High School yesterday. The festival featured an elephant sale, games and food to raise funds for the Mililani High School track team to attend the Island Movers State Track Champions. The meet will be held May 13-15 and costs about $200 for each athelete, according to head coach Dane Matsunaga.



TOSS ME THAT COCONUT

In a track and field event unique to the University of Hawaii, Arwen Glazner threw a coconut over her head yesterday --- backward --- in an attempt to become the best athlete of the Coconut Toss. When asked if she was the champion of the event, Glazner responded, "No. But I aspire to be."
