RIGHT ON, MR. BROWN!: Veteran actor Honey Brown was still in costume when he came out to see Catherine Fong, left, Tina Valentine, and Jewel McDonald after "Two Trains Running" opened to a standing ovation at the Yellow Brick Studio Jan 7. Brown contributes a finely shaded portrayal of a shrewd neighborhood undertaker to this "must see" look at life in urban America.

WORKING TOGETHER AT LAST!: Moses Goods, left, and Gemini Burke joined other cast members outside to meet the audience after the show. Goods and Burke almost worked together last year in Diamond Head Theatre's landmark production of "Ragtime" but Goods' commitments to other theater projects forced him to opt out.

"CONGRATULATIONS, LEONARD!": Dwight Holiday, right, stayed back to talk with director/actor Leonard Piggee, left, and cast members Donna Sallee and Derrick K. Brown. The show is a co-production of The Actors Group and Piggee's Honolulu African American Repertory Theatre, and Piggee worked long and hard to get a venue for a full-scale production of this August Wilson play.
