Tochiazuma needs
10 more wins


TOKYO >> Ozeki Tochiazuma won his third straight bout today to improve to 3-1 at the New Year Grand Sumo Tournament.

Tochiazuma, who is fighting for promotion to yokozuna to replace retired Musashimaru, beat Tochinonada 2-2) by oshidashi frontal push out). Tochiazuma needs 13 wins in the tournament to secure the promotion.

Yokozuna Asashoryu, Takanonami, Kotomitsuki and Chiyotaikai are tied at 4-0.
