CELEBRATES 25TH

FL MORRIS / FMORRIS@STARBULLETIN.COM Kathy Nguyen, right, and Judy Truong-Vo sat next to a Vietnamese flag yesterday and watched the entertainment onstage during the Vietnamese Festival at Kapiolani Park Bandstand. The festival celebrated the Free Vietnam Organization's 25th anniversary and the lunar Year of the Monkey. Hawaii's Vietnamese-American community also welcomed a resolution recognizing the former South Vietnamese flag, which is yellow with three red horizontal stripes, as their symbol.
