New Year unity

A festival showcases various
cultural performances and traditions


The Japanese Cultural Center of Hawaii presented a New Year's Ohana Festival yesterday at Moiliili Park. The theme of this year's event was "Celebrating the Multicultural Traditions of Hawaii" and featured diverse cultural demonstrations and entertainment, including performances of bagpipes and Scottish dance, Brazilian martial arts, Philippine dance and more.
