LOST HIKER RESCUED

The Honolulu Fire Department found a missing hiker in the Pacific Palisades area and airlifted her to safety yesterday. The 26-year-old hiker, a woman from California, had separated from her group, then took a wrong turn on the Manana Trail. During the rescue, Honolulu Fire Department senior pilot Steve Aiu landed his helicopter at the top of Waimano Home Road.
