Ewan McGregor plays the young adventurer Edward Bloom in director Tim Burton's fanciful "Big Fish."

"Big Fish": Tim Burton's latest fanciful film concerns Edward Bloom, a teller of tall tales (Albert Finney), who relates his mythic exploits as a young man (played by Ewan McGregor), when his wanderlust led him on an unlikely journey from a small town in Alabama, around the world and back again. The adventures run from the delightful to the delirious as he weaves epic tales about giants, a witch and conjoined-twin singers.

But the film is also about a father and his estranged son Will (Billy Crudup). When Will's mother (Jessica Lange) tries to reunite them, Will must learn how to separate fact from fiction as he comes to terms with his father's great feats and great failings. (PG-13)

"Chasing Liberty": Pop star and actress Mandy Moore plays a teenage first daughter who, while on a diplomatic mission to Europe, escapes her Secret Service protectors (Annabella Sciorra and Jeremy Piven) with the help of Brit hottie, newcomer Matthew Goode, much to the chagrin of presidential daddy Mark Harmon. (PG-13)

"My Baby's Daddy": This comedy tells the story of three bachelor buddies from the 'hood who, after a lifetime of hard partying, get a rude awakening when their respective girlfriends all get pregnant at about the same time. Eddie Griffin (who co-wrote and co-produced this movie), Anthony Anderson and Michael Imperioli play the soon-to-be daddies. (PG-13)
