Sacred Hearts Academy's first-graders yesterday performed the play "Bug-le-hem," a story of Christmas from the point of view of a bug. Above, Lauren Nagamine, dressed as a termite, took a peek from behind the screen in front of Grace Lim, left, and Brittany Amano, who are both dressed as cows. Below, parents took videos and pictures of their kids in the play.

Two 5-foot snow figures were dropped off at Puuhale School in Kalihi yesterday. They were donated by 1942 graduate Frank Yamamoto and Hawaiian Ice. First-graders Easton Cummings, second from left, Tammi Titcomb and Langa John took a photo with the snow couple.
