Justin’s CD Release Party
PARTY AT THE WILLOWS!: Chad Takatsugi of 'Ale'a, left, "Uncle Bobby" Moderow Jr. of Moanalua, disc jockey Ron "The Real Ron O'Neil" Klohs of Oldies 107.9, and record producer Kata Maduli enjoyed the party as Tropical Music and Mt. Kalihi Productions celebrated the release of Justin's long-anticipated Hawaiian album, "One Foot on Sand," at the Willows on Wednesday.
CONGRATULATIONS, JUSTIN!: Andy Saxton of Simplisity, right, congratulated Justin on "One Foot on Sand," one of 2003's most impressive local albums. Party guest VIPs received shell leis as a memento of the evening.
AND THE PARTY ROCKED!: Ilona Irvine, left, John Cruz and Jeff Rasmussen posed for the camera as they performed. 'Ale'a played early, Kama Hopkins of Kilinahe did a risque hula to "Miloli'i," and Pi'i Miguel of Chant backed Justin on an acoustic set. The party closed with Miguel, Cruz, Rasmussen, Miguel, D.J. Pratt and several other musicians playing as Justin's concert band.
