'PETER PAN' OPENS AT
DIAMOND HEAD THEATRE

"RAGTIME" ALUMNI CHECK OUT "PETER PAN": Crystal Williams talked with Julius Dae-Sung Ahn, left, and Leon Williams as they awaited the opening of "Peter Pan" at Diamond Head Theatre on Friday. Crystal worked with Ahn in DHT's production of "Ragtime," and with Leon (no relation) in a mainland production of the show. Two members of DHT's "Ragtime" ohana -- Bobo Miles and F.L. Cabacungan -- are performing in "Peter Pan."

GREG'S BACK!: Greg Zane, left, and DHT Artistic Director John Rampage enjoyed the sponsors' reception prior to the show. Zane and Rampage are sharing directing and choreographing duties for "Peter Pan" just as they did last year when DHT staged "The Sound of Music."

PARTY TIME: Randl Ask, left, Jenn Harris and F.L. Cabacungan celebrated a great opening night as the cast and crew partied afterward at Jose's Mexican Restaurant. Ask gives the show most of its comic impact with his flamboyant portrayal of Captain Hook and does a fine job as stuffy Mr. Darling, too. Cabacungan (Smee) and Harris (Mrs. Darling) are also assets. "Peter Pan" closes with a post-Christmas show at 3 p.m. Dec. 27.
