Allen Sterling, 11, wiped the windshield of an old T-6 SNJ propeller plane yesterday that was used as an advanced trainer during World War II. He is helping his dad, John, polish the plane that is on display at Hickam Air Force Base Officer Club for a benefit dinner. In the back is a Russian-made MiG 15 (originally flown in the Polish military) of the Korean War era. Both planes are part of the collection of the Military Aviation Museum of the Pacific planned for Ford Island.
