E is for earrings
Maybe money can't buy you love, but it sure can make those who already love you very happy. So if you've got deep pockets and want to bring an extra big smile to your wife's (or mother's, or grandmother's, etc.) face this season, consider going all out with glimmer-and-sparkle earrings.
You can find any number of styles at craft fairs and the malls, starting at a mere double digits. But in case you dread going into upper end European designer shops, such as Bvlgari in Ala Moana Center, here's a peek at what you might be missing.
Consider Bvlgari's Caramelle dangle earrings, which, at $2,250, dazzle with blue topaz cabochons and pearls. They're perfect for the woman with plenty of parties to attend. Or if those aren't glitzy enough, the shop's Parentesi earrings probably fit the bill. At $6,400, the 18K white gold pair boast "full pave diamonds," and the sparkle will undoubtedly cause hearts to skip a beat.
But even if the woman you know doesn't give into flash, elegance is just an ear lobe away at such establishments. Signature pieces, such as Bvlgari's engraved Bvlgari/Bvlgari gold earrings lend sophistication to a woman's style. And it's easier on the pocketbook at a mere $1,150 a pair.
The Star-Bulletin's countdown to Christmas continues daily, one letter at a time.
