CHRISTMAS TREES ARE
COMING TO TOWN!

RONEN ZILBERMAN / RZILBERMAN@STARBULLETIN.COM The annual "Christmas tree ship" arrived in Honolulu yesterday, and state Department of Agriculture inspectors were on hand to make sure that no unwanted insect stowaways made the trip along with the trees. Inspectors Gwen Imoto, Roy Oda and Amy Takahashi closely examined a tree and its needles.

SAILBOAT BY REMOTE

RONEN ZILBERMAN / RZILBERMAN@STARBULLETIN.COM Bill Hojnacki worked on his remote control sailboat yesterday at Ala Moana Beach Park. Hojnacki is a member of the Hawaii model yacht club and comes to the park every Sunday to race his catamaran.
