MASTERS OF HARMONY: Imaikalani Young, center, talked with Buddy and Sammi Fo, after he and his band, Imai & Friends, played at Na Hokupa's CD-release party at Gordon Biersch on Sunday. Harmony was the theme for most of the evening, and none of the bands harmonized more smoothly than Imai & Friends with Buddy Fo sitting in as special guest on percussion and vocals.

GREAT JOB, PAUL!: O'Brien Eselu, standing, congratulated Na Hokupa leader Paul Martinez on the release of the group's aptly titled album, "The Perfect Harmony." Eselu's set was another highlight in a great CD party.

GETTIN' READY: The men of Pali -- John Tanner, left, Shepherd "Pox" Kawakami, Pali T.W. Ka'aihui, Dwayne Keomaka and Rory Lono -- enjoyed the pupu buffet before taking the stage after O'Brien Eselu's set. Late afternoon rain didn't spoil the party for celebrity guests Gordon Broad, David "Kawika" Crowley and Glen Smith.
