Hundreds of Muslims prayed yesterday morning at Manoa Valley Park to observe the end of Ramadan, a month of fasting. It was the Eid al-Fitr holiday -- the feast of fast-breaking -- complete with a picnic and games for children. Araby Jawad, above, watched his dad and others during the ceremonies.

During the Eid al-Fitr holiday picnic, Noirnde Jubran had a bite to eat. Muslims hold Ramadan holy as commemorating the time when the Quran was revealed to the prophet Muhammad.
