A Filipino blessing
The Honolulu Academy of Arts
hosts a holiday tradition
FL MORRIS / FMORRIS@STARBULLETIN.COM
The Honolulu Academy of Arts was the staging ground yesterday for Pasko, the Filipino Christmas celebration. Every year during Pasko, children traditionally ask for a blessing from an elder relative. Kai Bruchal, center, was given a traditional blessing by designated Pasko celebration elder Gorgonia Bulda as he was held by his grandfather, Jeff Bruchal.
