FUKUOKA, Japan >> Tochiazuma beat Asashoryu today to win the Kyushu tournament.
The two were tied going into the tournament's final match, which Tochiazuma (13-2) won by oshidashi (frontal push out).
Dejima (11-4) missed out on a chance to tie for second by losing to Tamanoshima.
Yokozuna Musashimaru, or Hawaii's Fiamalu Penitani, retired from the sport on Nov. 15.
