Erlinda Andres-Fiesta, 66, of New York City, a retired Mariano Marcos State University professor in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines, died Oct. 27, 2003, in Lenox Hill Hospital, NY. She was born in the Philippines. She is survived by husband Reynaldo, son Raymund, daughter Renalynne, mother Melitina Bangloy, sisters Trifona Andres and Nita Corpuz, and brother Celedonio Andres. Nobumitsu Ashitomi, also known as Nobumitsu Oshiro, 88, of Wahiawa, a retired Oahu Sugar employee, died Nov. 2, 2003, in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Kahuku. He is survived by son Harry T. Oshiro; daughters Jane K. Otsubo, Hilda H. Takemoto and Florence F. Padua; brothers Mitsumori and Kunio Ashitomi; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Elisabeth "Lisa" Lavon Bullock, 46, of Kalaoa, Kona, Hawaii, a homemaker, died Nov. 6, 2003, in Kona Community Hospital. She was born in Travis, Texas. Edward Joseph Ching, 46, of Kahala, formerly of Kailua and Oregon, an Akamai Insurance Consultants Hawaii insurance executive, died Nov. 5, 2003. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by children Hunter and Gabriella, sisters Esther Anna Elassiouti and Catharine Ching Sanbongi, mother Waltraud Val Ching, father Calvin Ching and stepmother Pamela Ching. James Russell "Jim" Cornwell, 54, of Kihei, an Arita-Poulson General Contracting supervisor, died Nov. 5, 2003, at home. He was born in Patterson, N.J. He is survived by wife Carrie, stepdaughter Jennifer Thompson, stepson Jason Clarke, sister Susan Thompson, brother Thomas and two granddaughters. Wesley Paul Freeman, 77, of Waipahu, a retired Navy serviceman, died Nov. 4, 2003, in Tripler Army Medical Center. He was born in Chicago.
