Prior to joining the firm, Arakaki was a state and City council legislative aide; Brown was a Castle Medical Center-Kailua registered nurse; Bunton was a St. Vincent Hospital human resource assistant in Oregon; Chen worked at Travelers Property Casualty; Conn was a senior sales executive; Fritz was a Japanese tour agency tour coordinator; Griffin was a retail consultant in Malaysia; Kekipi was in the hospitality industry; and Kelly was a private chef.
>> Atlantis Adventures has promoted Celina Uehara to manager of the company's agency service center. She will oversee all reservation functions related to daily Hawaii operations, such as customer relations and the handling of ticketing and special requests. She began with the company in January as administrative assistant for Oahu operations and previously worked as an administrative assistant for the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Honolulu.
>> Consulting agency Milici Valenti Ng Pack has promoted Courtney Loughry and David Taga from assistant account executives to account executives; Lee-Ann Hernandez from media buyer to assistant media planner; and Tania Ishimaru from account coordinator to assistant account executive. Loughry will coordinate day-to-day account activity and strategic planning for her clients. Taga will continue to work on the Aloha Airlines, Matson Navigation and Japan Hawaii Economic Council accounts. Hernandez will be responsible for assisting in creating media and promotional campaigns for her clients. Ishimaru will continue to work on the First Hawaiian Bank, Princeville Resort and Hawaii Visitor & Convention Bureau accounts.
