RENO, Nevada -- Kim Willoughby had 27 kills to lead Hawaii over Nevada 28-30, 30-26, 30-22, 30-24 in women’s volleyball action Thursday night.
Lily Kahumoku added 19 kills and a match-high 16 digs for the Rainbow Wahine, who are ranked second in this week’s USA Today/American Volleyball Coaches Association poll.
Hawaii improved to 25-1 on the season and 11-0 in the Western Athletic Conference.
Tristin Adams and Lauren Galler had 13 kills apiece to lead unranked Nevada, which fell to 12-14 and 5-6.
The Rainbow Wahine continue their road trip Saturday at Fresno State.
