PARTY #1: Hailama Farden, center, partied with Brian Mersberg, left, and Eric Lee, as the duo celebrated the recent release of their second album, "Come And See ... Hawaii," at Gordon Biersch on Oct. 26. Farden, who did a Hawaiian translation of "In The Garden of Paradise," for the album, enlivened the party with his hula to "Teve Teve." Moanalua, Kanilau and Ho'okena also performed.

PARTY #2: Kali'i Miller, left, put in a long night as a celebrity judge at the Vans Triple Crown Battle of the Bands finals presented by Turk Cazimero, center, and emceed by Fil Slash, at the Honolulu Hard Rock Cafe on Oct 28. Three bands tied for top honors, and so Neken, Hot Rain and Amplified will all be joining War, Ho'onu'a, B.E.T., and Go Jimmy Go in concert at Sea Life Park this Saturday.

PARTY #3: Dan Hale, left, celebrated with Leah Kihara, Leanne Kang Ferrer, and Moses Goods III, at a preview screening for "Kava Kulture" at the Elks Club on Oct. 29. Goods, a versatile veteran of the local stage, stars as the fugitive leader of the kava underground. Hale, another Po'okela-worthy actor, plays the ruthless leader of the anti-kava Global Enforcement Agency. "Kava Kulture" shows at 6:30 p.m. today at Dole Cannery I.
