Agnes Mae Abbey, also known as "Healani," 80, of Westminster, Calif., a retired Navy Shipyards employee, died Aug. 7, 2003, in Buena Park, Calif. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son Joseph K. Jr., sister Dorothy Hanapi, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Services were held in Westminster Memorial Park. Burial was held at Huntington Beach, Calif.

Sonny Kwok Chung Ah Toon, 67, of Kaneohe, a retired Wong's Auto 1st Class painter, died Oct. 26, 2003, in Castle Medical Center. He was born in Apolima, West Samoa. He is survived by wife Sifusi; sons Marino, Sonny Jr., Thomas, Casper "Poga" and Ronald; daughters Elizabeth Apilando, Joann Gifford and Crystal Ah Toon; brothers Iona, Ailetupe, Nuufou, Tasesa, Eli Papalii, Poufa, Tauiliili and Evile Malaeulu, and Taelefusi and Roy Ah Toon; sisters Rosa Malaeulu, Suleni Tavelu, Pouica Malaeulu, Ella Ah Loe, Temukisa Matautia, Lucky Aileone, Helen Passi and Sefulu Fitu; and eight grandchildren. Yaeko Beppu, 97, of Hauula, a homemaker, died Oct. 22, 2003, at home. She was born in Waiakea, Hawaii. She is survived by sons Lawrence, Harry, George and Calvin; daughter Daisy Kanda; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren. Private services held.

William "Norman" Cordeiro, 81, of Kaneohe, a retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard Shop 56 pipefitter and planner-estimator, died Oct. 27, 2003, in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Paahau, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Ramona G., sons Norbert R. and Alan W., sister Shirley L. Harvey, three grandchildren and one great-grandson. Mass: 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Ann Catholic Church. Reginald Minoru Hanabusa, 74, of Palo Alto, Calif., a retired Caltrans civil engineer, died Sept. 19, 2003. He was born in Waianae. He is survived by wife Kazue, sons David, Jerry, Russell and Neil; daughters Kathy Nakamura and Wendy Ichimaru; brother Isao Hanabusa; sister Hazel Tsukano; and 13 grandchildren. Chiyoko Ito, 85, of Honolulu, a retired University of Hawaii-Manoa custodian, died Oct. 29, 2003, in Nuuanu Hale Hospital. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son David; daughter Patsy T. Tanaka; brothers Jack and Harry Miyashiro; sisters Violet Ono, June Miyashiro, Lilly Kimura and Ruth Fujioka; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Dennis Kalahikiola Kaloi, 74, of Kaneohe, a retired Mechanical Hawaii Inc. pipefitter, died Oct. 26, 2003, in Kaneohe. He was born on Molokai. Delmar Cosby Kenner, 93, of Honolulu, a retired Federal Housing Authority appraiser, died Oct. 29, 2003, in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Elkton, Ky. Frances Goo Ling, 84, of Honolulu, a retired federal worker, died Oct. 29, 2003, in St. Francis Medical Center. She was born in Honolulu. Natividad Ubasa Mercado, 57, of Ewa Beach, a Pagoda Hotel environmental services worker, died Oct. 26, 2003, at home. She was born in the Phillippines.
