NEW JOBS

>> Alexander & Baldwin Inc. has appointed Nelson S. Chun to vice president and general counsel beginning November. He was previously a partner at law firm Cades Schutte and practices in general business counseling; business formation and structure, including corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships; real estate transactions; mergers and acquisitions; and health care.

>> Howard Hanzawa, former County of Maui Development Services Administration supervising engineer, has joined SSFM International as vice president of Maui operations. While with the county, he managed other engineers, clerks and inspectors; oversaw plan reviews, permit issuance, subdivision construction inspections and highway and grading project work; and ensured that all projects complied with codes and standards. He also introduced the use of digital imaging and archiving of subdivision maps and project plans.

>> Hawaiiana Management Co. has appointed the former Army Col. Randy Stansfield as a management executive. He was previously Fort Shafter chief of staff.
