Tricks and
freaky treats
It's only seems that right that this month's Dungeon be held tonight on Halloween -- and it's celebrating a 10-year anniversary, to boot -- and you know it's a knee-high, black leather kind with the highest of stiletto heels. Ouch!
"Tricks & treats, spanks & beats, everything you heard is true" the flyer promises. Besides the two rooms set aside for dancing, there'll be five areas, both indoors and outdoors, set aside for the usual, like The Cage, Iron Cross, and The Nasty Nook.
>> Place: 1739 Kalakaua Ave., kitty-corner from the Hard Rock Cafe
>> Time: Doors open at 10 p.m. and early arrival is strongly recommended
>> Tickets: $20 advance and $25 at the door, 18 and over. Available at Jelly's, Cheapo's Music, Sensually Yours, Linea, Sugar Box and Holy Body Piercing

For you less venturesome party goers, the Ocean Club and Meritage Restaurant, both located in Restaurant Row, will be having their own holiday shindigs tonight. Ocean's will have "Haunted Hollywood, A Dead Celebrities Costume Party." Come dressed as your favorite deceased celebrity and enter to win $1,000 in cash and prizes. It starts at 8 p.m. for those 21 and over.
And across the way at Meritage, its masquerade ball will feature live entertainment by Chant and a DJ. Prizes will be offered for the best costumes, as well as complimentary desserts created by Chef Mariano Lalica, and drink specials like the Vampire, a red wine and vodka mixture. For reservations, call 529-8686.
