>> Walter Ida was appointed to vice president of strategic planning at Territorial Savings Bank. Before joining the bank, he was director of business development at KPMG. Two branch managers were also named: Ken Morimoto, Kailua and Robert Takeshita, Downtown. Morimoto joined the bank in November 2002 and was previously an Ameriquest Mortgage account executive. Takeshita was previously a Finance Factors vice president and branch manager for twenty-two years.
>> Channing Bridges returns to Hawaii to become director of sales and marketing for Kapalua Bay Hotel & Ocean Villas on Maui. He served for the past 10 years as director of sales and marketing for Seascape Resort-Monterey Bay in California. Prior to that, he had positions in Hawaii as western regional sales manager for Colony Hotels & Resorts, general manager and owner of Island Getaways, and group operations manager for Ocean Travel Services.

>> Bank of Hawaii has promoted four employees to vice president: Terrance Andreski, from senior auditor; AnnJoy Cieslak, previously assistant vice president; William Shiroma, from assistant vice president; and Teri Panela. Andreski and Panela continue their duties as audit consultants: Andreski ensuring that the bank's audit programs and processes are current and Panela auditing computer applications, business processes and special projects. Cieslak continues her responsibilities as a portfolio management and reserve analyst, tracking movement in portfolio asset quality and its impact on the bank's reserves to cover losses in loans and leases. Shiroma maintains his job as a service manager for the bank's main branch, overseeing the hiring, training and coaching of operations staff and ensuring that the branch meets its sales and service goals.
>> Tony Tung has been appointed director of the Pacific Resources for Education and Learning (PREL) NEARStar program. He joined the program in 2001 and was named associate director in December 2002. Before joining PREL, he served as president of Mutation Labs and as an assistant producer and designer for The Walt Disney Co.
