Jose Bolosan Amodo, Sr., 63, of Kaneohe, a retired Jayar Construction Co. heavy equipment mechanic, died Oct. 14, 2003, at home. He was born in Ilocos Norte, the Philippines. He is survived by wife Mary K., son Jose B. Jr., daughters Michelle Kila and Brenda Amodo-Carinio, brothers Rudy and Absalon, sister Esther Root and three grandchildren. Tae Hoe Choe, 70, of Honolulu, died Oct. 15, 2003, in Kuakini Medical Center. She was born in Kyongki-Do, Korea. She is survived by husband Sang Ho; son Jaehyok; daughters Jison Hohng and Taeson Wong; brothers John, Choon Hoe and Kwan Kuh; and six grandchildren. Robert Chew Hoong Chun, 90, of Honolulu, a U.S. Navy veteran of the Korean War and retired Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard machinist, died Oct. 10, 2003, in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by wife Violet; sons Michael K.W. and Randall K.B.; daughters Cynthia C.S. Hall and Roberta C.L. Nicolasa Ugali Dulig, 79, of Honolulu, died Oct. 7, 2003, in the Queen's Medical Center. She was born in Banna, Ilocos Norte, the Philippines. Joseph Leiwawau Kahanaoi, 76, of Waimanalo, a retired Hawaiian Electric Co. lineman, died Oct. 12, 2003, in Kaiser Medical Center. He was born in Hawaii. Harriet L. Liu-Boudreaux, 74, of Honolulu, a Delco Corp. supervisor in New York, died Sept. 16, 2003, in Rochester, N.Y. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by son Roger Brock, daughter Deborah Gilmore, brothers Gerard and Raymond Liu, sisters Phyllis Mahelona and Cynthia "Chickadee" Henriques, and six grandchildren.
