Honolulu police Sgt. Jason DelaCruz held traffic on Kahala Avenue as participants in the 22nd annual Honolulu Symphony Fun Run and Walk took off from the starting line yesterday. The fund-raising event featured 20 different musical groups that provided entertainment for runners and walkers as they passed along the route.

Laurilyn Butin, Tim Leong and Amanda Schubert portrayed the Fiddler on the Roof with his daughters while walkers and runners passed by.

Jessica Clinard and Shane Graf belted out a song on a street corner. The duo performed with other members of the Honolulu Waldorf School Band, which was led by music teacher Peter Rucci.

The Country Dancers of Hawaii grabbed their partners and took a spin on the corner of Hakaka and Kaimanahila streets. Randy Malone danced with Joann Baker and Heather McCafferty danced with Tim Smith.
