>> Hawaiian Host Inc. has appointed Jon T. Iwaoka to production supervisor. He will assist the plant manager in overseeing product production. His previous experience includes working as the lighting director and head technician for Society of Seven Entertainment Group, where he was responsible for designing and computer-programming the lighting system.>> Howard Nager has accepted the position of vice president of fresh sales and marketing at Maui Pineapple Co. He served for the past six years as vice president of marketing for Sunsweet growers in Yuba City, Calif. Prior to that, he held positions with Pacific Fruit, Del Monte Fresh Produce and Dole Food.
>> Clinical Director Dr. David Derauf and Brenda Mathias, assistant executive director and director of finance, now share the role of executive director at Kokua Kalihi Valley Comprehensive Family Services. Dr. Laura DeVilbiss has replaced Dr. Derauf as the new clinical director. Derauf and DeVilbiss will continue to see patients and serve on various medical boards and committees in addition to their executive duties. Janet Primiano, professional education and training coordinator for medical and dental residents and interns since 1999, now serves concurrently as youth services coordinator. Finally, Allen Kanno has joined Kokua Kalihi Valley as financial director. He was formerly with Child & Family Services.
