Behind brothers Peter and Carlo Raneses, the Trojans remained undefeated with a victory over the Golden Hawks.

Carlo Raneses ran for 84 yards on 14 carries while Peter Raneses scored both of Mililani's touchdowns on 1-yard runs for the only Trojan touchdowns in the game.

The Golden Hawks kept it close as Kyle Beck hauled in a 26-yard touchdown reception from Jaycee Alapai for Nanakuli's only score.

Na Alii scored six times in the first quarter to cruise past Kalani and remain undefeated in the OIA White.

Aiea struck less than a minute into the game on Brandon Puckett's 32-yard field goal. Na Alii followed the kick with five touchdowns, including three passes from Kali Kuia.

Kuia threw for 128 yards on 16 of 20 attempts while Puckett kicked five extra points. The Aiea defense held Kalani to minus-17 yards rushing and 42 yards passing.

Lino Kakiva's 40-yard interception return proved to be the difference.

His return in the third quarter broke a 7-all tie and put Radford up for good. Eric Venglar added a crucial field goal in the fourth quarter to give the Rams a 17-10 lead before Kaiser scored the game's last touchdown.

Kaiser quarterback Steven Pratt threw for 200 yards on 12 of 20 completions.

LIHUE >> The Menehunes (4-1, 2-1) defeated the Warriors (1-5, 0-4) at Vidinha Stadium with a second-half surge.

The Kauai Interscholastic Federation game was scoreless at halftime, but with 1:35 left in the third quarter Po'okela Chang-Wo scored on a 3-yard run to give Waimea a 7-0 lead.

With 5:24 remaining in the fourth quarter on fourth and 1, Jordon Dizon, who saw his first game action since injuring his ankle in Waimea's season opener, scored from 11 yards out to give the Menehunes a 13-0 lead. The point after was blocked. Waimea added a late touchdown on a 24-yard run by quarterback Jon Palacio.

Kapaa hurt itself with 13 penalties and three turnovers. With the Warrior loss, Kauai High School earns the right to represent the KIF in the Division I state tournament. Next week Kauai travels to Hanapepe to face Waimea in a key KIF matchup.
