The tide at Keehi Lagoon was so high yesterday that only ducks would be comfortable around this pay telephone. But Larry Hunter found some high ground to make a call to his children in Canada as water surrounded the phone. He and his wife Angie, of Ontario, Canada, are waiting for the end of hurricane season before setting sail across the ocean.

Kosong Ogwandae, an 18-member dance company from Kosong, South Korea, gave a Korean masked dance and drama performance yesterday at the East-West Center Friendship Circle in Manoa. Ha Man Ho danced before hundreds of students from seven public and private schools.
