Evelyn Eva Alcantra, 70, of Waianae, a retired Woolworth's employee in Waianae, died Aug. 29, 2003, at home. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Gordon and Harry, sister Joann Rodrigues, 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Private services.

Beverly M. Bear, 73, of Kailua, a homemaker, died Sept. 12, 2003, in Castle Medical Center. She was born in Los Angeles. She is survived by daughters Margaret Ortiz and Jennifer Leedy, four grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Services: 10 a.m. Friday at Emmanuel Episcopal Church, 780 Keolu Drive, Kailua.

Kevin Amodo Carranza died Aug. 27, 2003, and Reyvin Amodo Carranza died Sept. 7, 2003. They were infant sons of Calvin Carranza and Reynelyn Amodo, of Wahiawa. They were born in Honolulu. Gerardo Noble "Jerry" Daguio, 66, of Mililani, a Realtor, retired federal government employee and U.S. Air Force veteran, died Sept. 6, 2003, in Kapiolani Medical Center at Pali Momi. He was born in Wahiawa. He is survived by wife Dolores M.L.; son Gerard; daughter Michelle Miranda; brothers Rosario, Juvent and Robert; sisters Rosalina Holmes and Dorothy Ung; and six grandchildren. Arthur Ki Kong Hoe, 82, of Kaneohe, a retired termite exterminator, died Aug. 28, 2003, in Honolulu. He was born in Honolulu. Albert Hiroshi Kushimaejo, 75, of Honolulu, a retired house painter, died Sept. 14, 2003, in Kuakini Medical Center. He was born in Honolulu. Cipriana Pakingan Reyes, 90, of Waianae, died Sept. 14, 2003, in Ka Punawai Ola. She was born in Imus, Cavite, the Philippines. She is survived by sons Mariano, Guillermo, Benjamin, Apolonio and Bartolome Jr.; daughters Rosalia and Consolacion Herrera, Victoria Coladilla and Pat Dukes; brother Gaudioso Pakingan; 19 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Sen Ping "Cecilia" Wright, 82, of Waianae, a former Nakatani's Tavern bartender, died Sept. 8, 2003, in St. Francis Medial Center. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by sons Melvin H.F. Pang and Soloman K.Y. Ah Sui, daughters Patricia H.N. Pang and Camille H.L. Rico, brother Henry Wong, sisters Agnes Fong and Sylvia Lau, eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
