Asashoryu loses
second straight

TOKYO >> Yokozuna Asashoryu lost his second bout in a row at the Autumn Grand Sumo Tournament today, failing to take advantage of an opportunity to clinch at least a tie for the title.
Ashashoryu (11-2) fell to Tochiazuma (9-4), while Kaio (7-6) upset fellow ozeki Chiyotaikai (10-3). Meanwhile, Kotomitsuki beat Takamisakari (8-5) to pull into a tie for second place.
Hawaii-born yokozuna Musashimaru (Fiamalu Penitani) is sitting out with an injury.
