Baldomero Castillo Almasan, 96, of Kaumakani, Kauai, an Olokele Sugar Plantation Co. irrigator, died Sept. 17, 2003, at home. He was born in Santa Maria, Ilocos Sur, the Philippines. He is survived by sons Alfredo, Silverio and Dionisio Almazan; daughters Florencia Domine, Cerelia Delion and Erlinda Castillo; brother Fidel Almazan; three sisters; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Leinaala Lee Apau, 85, of Honolulu, a retired Department of Education schoolteacher, died Sept. 15, 2003, at home. She was born in Honolulu. John Henry Bohlen, 71, of Kapolei, a retired adult probation chief at Butler County, Ohio, died Sept. 12, 2003, in St. Francis-West Medical Center. He was born in St. Louis. Albert Dionapra Espina, 81, of Honolulu, a retired facilities maintenance engineer at Fort Shafter and Fort Kamehameha, died Sept. 9, 2003, at home. He was born in Koloa, Kauai.
