Asashoryu still unbeaten


TOKYO >> Yokozuna Asashoryu defeated Takanonami by oshidashi (frontal push out)today to remain the last undefeated sumotori after eight days of the Autumn Grand Sumo Tournament.

Five wrestlers are tied with 6-2 records after today's bouts, including Tamakasuga, Yotsukasa, Tamanoshima, Tochiazuma and Chiyotaikai. Tochisakae (1-7) earned his first win.
