Retreat offers help for troubled marriages
A program for couples seeking help in rebuilding troubled marriages will be offered Sept. 19-21 at the St. Stephen's Diocesan Center in Maunawili.The weekend Retrouvaille retreat is open to people of any faith, said Lindy Styer. She and her husband, Willy, are one of three couples who lead the format of exploring struggles and seeking reconciliation and healing.
The course offers practical ways for couples to develop communication skills and gain insight into problems shared by others. Twelve follow-up meetings are part of the program.
The center is located at 6301 Pali Highway. There is a $50 registration fee. For information, call Steve or Deni Smith, 222-2545.
