Renowned military historian Jeremy Black will hold a lecture tonight on "Warfare in the 20th Century" at Hawaii Pacific University.
The event will be held at 6 p.m. at the university's Warner Auditorium at 1060 Bishop St., seventh floor.
The lecture is free and open to the public.
Black has written more than 50 books on topics that include 18th-century British history, the American Revolution and World War II.
His latest book is "World War II: A Military History."
He is a history professor at the University of Exeter, United Kingdom. Black has received many honors and been awarded membership in the Order of the British Empire.
