George Richard Clifton, 73, of Mountain View, Hawaii, a retired life insurance salesman, died Aug. 27, 2003, in Hilo Medical Center. He was born in Phoenix. He is survived by wife Minnie; sons Charlie, Brigham and Jared; daughters Katie Cleak, Teresa Samalee, Lila Kahai and Amy Naehu; sister Melva Pipes; 22 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Private services held.

Helen Hilliard, 94, of Ewa Beach, a retired New York Telephone Co. employee, died Aug. 24, 2003, in St. Francis-West Medical Center. She was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. She is survived by son William, daughter Isabel Queypo, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services: 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Mililani Mortuary-Waipio, mauka chapel. Homer "Paping" Perkins Sr., 81, of Pearl City, a retired carpenter for Tamashiro Construction, died Aug. 13, 2003, in Pearl City Nursing Home. He was born in Honolulu. He is survived by sons Homer K. Jr., Gregory P. and Vincent K.; daughters Oriette Kanaha, Bernadine K.K. Godfredsen and Sharon N. Allen; brothers Ralph Sing Chow and Spencer Peters; stepbrother Moses Miranda; sisters Esther L. and Verdell Lum; caregiver Maria Mesa; 15 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren. Services: 7 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday at Mililani Mortuary- Waipio, mauka chapel. Call after 6 p.m. Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial: 12:30 p.m. at Mililani Memorial Park. Casual attire.

Caroll Angeline Tamashiro, 63, of Aiea, a retired Kailua High School cafeteria employee, died Aug. 17, 2003, at home. She was born in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Jerry H.; sons Jerrod and Richie; daughter Cynthia Fung; stepfather Raymond Faliciano Jr.; brothers John and Richard Victor and Thomas, Philip, Raymond III and Michael Feliciano and Ross Kunimitsu; sister Betty Ramos; and four grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. Saturday at Hosoi Garden Mortuary. Casual attire. No flowers.

Thomas Tatsuo "Tom" Tatsutani, 67, of Hilo and formerly of Honolulu, a retired Constructors Hawaii mason, died Aug. 25, 2003, at home. He was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii. He is survived by wife Leatrice; brothers Shuji, Chiso and Lionel; and sisters Jane Ota and Jean Tatsutani. Services: 5 p.m. Friday at Dodo Mortuary Chapel, Hilo. Call after 4 p.m. Cremation to follow.

Eleanor Chun Yap, 82, of Los Angeles, a homemaker, died Dec. 15, 2002, in Van Nuys, Calif. She was born in China and raised in Honolulu. She is survived by husband Kenneth, son Kimo, daughter Diana Brin and sisters Gwen Wong and Charlotte Low. Private services.
