She is survived by sons Miguel, Guillermo, Gus and Richard Queponds; daughters Delia Alpuche, Nancy Rosales and Marie Santana; brother Miguel; 17 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Stella Hanayo Kakazu, 80, of Wahiawa, a retired Kemoo Farm Restaurant general manager, died Aug. 19, 2003, at home. She was born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii.
