Embroidered graphics grace the flirty and whimsical designs of Fighting Eel, which will be staging a sample sale Sunday at Chop Salon in Restaurant Row.
Eye on Fighting Eel
Chop Salon presents a summer sample sale featuring handmade women's clothing and accessories by Fighting Eel, from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Fighting Eel designers Lan Chung and Rona Marie started by creating clothing for friends and plan to start production on their line later this year.
The show will also feature men's and women's T-shirts by Joseph Coleman of Good Agnostic and Jade Chang of Folk You, hand-crafted jewelry by Rona Marie, and free hair consultations by Ren Chang.
All items will be available for purchase, with payment by cash or check only. Men's tees start at $20, women's tops range from $20 to $35, skirts start at $40, accessories start at $15, and jewelry is priced from $45 to $150.
