A preview of movies opening this weekend:
>> The Medallion -- In "The Tuxedo," it was a suit that gave Jackie Chan his superhuman fighting powers. Here, the action star relies on a magic pendant. Playing a dead cop-turned-immortal warrior, Chan teams with Interpol agent Claire Forlani to battle an evil mastermind (Julian Sands). (PG-13)
>> Marci X -- Lisa Kudrow stars in this comedy as the prissy and pampered daughter of a record company president who has to take on her dad's job after his heart attack and during a controversy concerning one of the label's rappers, Dr. S (Damon Wayans). She tries to tone down his bad-boy edge. (R)
>> My Boss's Daughter -- Ashton Kutcher, Tara Reid and Terence Stamp star in this comedy about a young man who agrees to watch his employer's house for the weekend, intending to use the opportunity to woo the boss's daughter he's long had a crush on. What he doesn't plan on is the long line of house guests that show up. (PG-13)
