Maui's Desiree Tang, who shared the first-round lead with Kono, was in second after a 77-149. Defending champion Rachel Kyono, an incoming junior at Pepperdine, was tied for third at 150 with Lehua Wise and Mari Chun.
Kyono had a 1-over 73 yesterday while Wise as at even par and Chun finished with the second-best round of the day at 69.
