on its final weekend

The final days of the 31st annual Hawaii State Farm Fair brings more hilarious hypnotism to stage with Tony Angelo, chef cooking demonstrations, flower-arranging workshops with Beatrice Yamasaki from the Sogetsu School of Ikebana, keiki arts and crafts, plus the usual attractions.
Don't miss out on the daily rides and games; tasty food samplings and sales of island-grown produce; the Meadow Gold Exotic Petting Zoo featuring a kangaroo, zebra, camel, water buffalo, and other creatures; Country Market; 4-H Livestock Exhibit; and Orchid and Plant Sale.

Today
6:30 p.m. -- Ogo demonstration, Aloha Tent Learning Center
7 p.m. -- Chef cooking demonstration and sampling, Aloha Tent
7:30 p.m. -- Master hypnotist Tony Angelo, Main Arena; repeats at 9:30 p.m.
8 p.m. -- "Silent Invasion" event features Christy Martin's presentation on alien pest species, Aloha Tent Learning Center
Saturday
$15 Wristband good for unlimited rides from noon to 6 p.m. Also, free admission for two with empty 1/2-gallon carton of Meadow Gold or Viva milk
12:30 to 2:30 p.m. -- STAR 101.9 Hit the Jackpot! event offers up a Nissan as prize, Aloha Tent
Noon to 5 p.m. -- Keiki Crafts & Activities for students from Kindergarten to 6th grade presented by 4H Clubs of Hawaii, Aloha Tent Learning Center
1:30 p.m. -- Master hypnotist Tony Angelo, Main Arena; repeats 7:30 and 9:30 p.m.
5:30 to 7 p.m. -- Island Rhythm's Shake It Don't Break It Tahitian dance contest, Main Arena
6 p.m. -- Food eating contest, Aloha Tent
6:30 p.m. -- Ikebana Flower Arranging hands-on session with Beatrice Yamasaki, Sogetsu School of Ikebana, Aloha Tent Learning Center; repeats at 8 p.m.

Admission 50 cents with empty Pepsi can from noon to 6 p.m. There also will be discounts for rides from noon to 6 p.m.
Noon-5 p.m. -- Keiki Experiences features "World of Plants" presentation by the University of Hawaii College of Tropical Agriculture's Horticulture Society, Aloha Tent Learning Center
5 to 7 p.m. -- KINE Keiki Ukulele Contest featuring Kapena, Main Arena
