The USS O'Kane docked at Pearl Harbor yesterday after six months at sea supporting Operation Iraqi Freedom. The 30 officers and 205 enlisted personnel aboard the Aegis guided-missile destroyer left Hawaii on Jan. 17. The O'Kane is Pearl Harbor's newest surface ship and is part of the Pearl Harbor-based Destroyer Squadron 31. A sailor holding roses waited at the rail for orders to step ashore.
