Everyone's got a few favorite movies. You know, the ones whose every line you can recite and whose entire cast and crew you can name, down to the best boy and gaffer. You've probably also studied your old VHS tapes enough that you've picked up a number of minor details that had gone unnoticed by theatergoers the first time around. These flicks' once-imperceptible little flaws now seem bigger than the budget of "Terminator 3."

At moviemistakes.com you'll be privy to some of the most unbelievable cinematic blunders of all time, including the now-infamous control room scene in "Star Wars," where a storm trooper nearly decapitates himself by knocking his head against a door frame. In "Commando," some may recall, Arnold Schwarzenegger has the left side of his gleaming new Porsche obliterated, though when he drives off, there's nary a scratch to be found anywhere on the car. "Titanic," the blockbuster that depicted the infamous 1912 disaster, features a bone-headed extra who forgets to take off his digital watch before boarding a lifeboat.

There's more, including a fight scene in "Charlie's Angels" in which Drew Barrymore teams up with Lucy Liu and yells "Lucy!" to catch her attention. Problem is, Liu's character's name is Alex. Then there's the scene in "Pearl Harbor" in which a building clearly states "Est. 1953" on its frontage. Oops.

Review your copy of "American Pie" sometime, and you'll notice this major goof: "In the bedroom scene, the girl is holding a clear cup full of beer," says moviemistakes.com. "The camera goes off her, and when it comes back, she is holding a blue cup. The camera goes back off her, then on her, and the cup is clear again."

Moviemistakes.com originates in Britain and is maintained by 24-year-old Southampton University graduate and film buff Jon Sandys. It receives about 30,000 unique visitors and roughly 3.5 million total views each month. As of this writing, the Web site featured 2,663 movies and 23,039 mistakes. That amounts to more than eight mistakes per film by some of Hollywood's highest-paid directors and producers. Apparently, audiences aren't the only ones who aren't getting their dollar's worth these days.
