Suspects sought after man attacked with bat

Police are searching for four men who allegedly robbed a 48-year-old man and hit him with a bat July 2 in Kailua.

Police said the victim was walking along the 900 block of Keolu Drive in Enchanted Lake when a black pickup truck stopped next to him.

Three of the men got out of the truck, and one asked the victim for gas money, according to police. The victim told the men he had no money and started to run.

Police said one of the men then pulled out a bat from the truck and hit the victim on the back of his head.

A second suspect is described as a male in his mid-20s, 5 feet 10 inches tall and 160 pounds with a medium build. The suspect had dark, shoulder-length hair and a medium complexion with sunken cheeks.

The car is described as an 1978 to 1980 faded black Nissan or Toyota pickup truck with a dented exterior.

Police had no description for the two other suspects.
