Brother and sister Jennifer and Jonathan Lee made their way through the rope maze yesterday at the interactive display "Amazing Mazes & Puzzling Puzzles II" at Pearlridge Center. The hands-on -- and legs-on -- display helps children develop critical reasoning and strategic skills.

Checkers player Jonah Yoshimura pondered his next move in an expansive game against Nicole Escudero. The free Pearlridge display is open Mondays to Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Aug. 3 at Pearlridge Uptown and Downtown.
