Rail returns with
Wave reunion show

AFTER SPENDING more than a year in retirement, the guys from Rail have decided to give it a go one more time tomorrow night at Wave Waikiki.

Doors open at 9 p.m. for this 21-and-over reunion show, with Full Circle starting things off sometime around 10:30 p.m. DJs Jrama, KSM and SubZero will hold it down on wax; $10 gets you through the door ...

CONGRATS TO local musician and composer Jerome Grey, who celebrates 40 years in the business with a concert Saturday night at Kapono's.

Grey is the father of Tinifuloa Grey, one of the members of Reign and the lucky husband of former Miss America Angela Baraquio. Reign will be on hand to perform on Saturday, joined by Ilona Irvine, Kapena, Shawn Ishimoto, Toa and Natusol.

Tickets are $15 for the party, dubbed "The Voices of Samoa Concert." Call 224-4882 for more info ...

ANOTHER PARTY worth checking out on Saturday is "Rugburn," going down at 9:30 p.m. at the Hawaiian Hut.

This one has the potential to get pretty freaky, with a hot-for-teacher / naughty schoolgirls theme enforced by the "Dean of Punishment," DJ Bobby Hollywood, and the "Principal of Submission," DJ SMK.

I'm not too sure what the music will be like -- we're promised the "phattest Hip-Hop, R&B and Trance all night long" -- but hopefully enough people will come dressed up to keep things interesting (and get themselves out of paying the $5 cover charge). Call 621-6818 ...

OVER AT Brew Moon that same night, Traci Toguchi returns to the stage for an evening of contemporary and R&B music. Hawaii's "American Idol" contestant, Jordan Segundo, will be there as well.

Toguchi is currently working on a new album, with the first single expected to be released soon. Reservations are recommended at Brew Moon; call 593-0088 ...

LADIES BETWEEN the ages of 16 and 26 years old who want to be in a music video, listen up: Producers Lorenzo Stamos and Pierre Angelo will be on Oahu next Wednesday and Thursday to shoot a music video for Darrell Labrado's single, "I Want My Island Girl."

If you're "local friendly," weigh less than 120 pounds and have long hair, check out www.alohaentgroup.com for instructions on how to apply ...

AND DON'T forget to check out "Insomniac" with Dave Attell tonight on Comedy Central. The comedian spent a few days here in December, and all the mayhem caught on tape airs for the first time at 7 and 9 p.m. ...
