Do-it-herself clinics
Women of all skill levels are invited to Home Depot's free Do-It-Herself workshops, for women only, 6:30 to 8:45 p.m. July 28.Three 45-minute classes are offered, providing hands-on instruction on how to lay ceramic tile (6:30 p.m.), install a ceiling fan (7:15 p.m.) and apply faux paint techniques (8 p.m.).
General do-it-yourself classes at the store this month include:
Tuesdays, 7 p.m., install a ceiling fan; Thursdays, 7 p.m., install vinyl replacement windows; Saturdays, 10 a.m., lay ceramic tile and 2 p.m., build a deck; Sundays, 2 p.m., learn faux paint techniques.
