Musashimaru
falls to 2-2


Hawaii-born yokozuna Musashimaru (Fiamalu Penitani) picked up his second loss today, falling to Takanonami at the July Grand Sumo Tournament.

Tokitsuumi and Chiyotaikai, meanwhile, each improved to 4-0 and are tied for first place.

Musashimaru (2-2), who is participating in his first basho since November, lost by hatakikomi (slap down).

Fellow yokozuna Asashoryu (3-1) beat Aminishiki (1-3), and 13 sumotori are a bout back at 3-1.
