Ching scores twice
for Earthquakes

Brian Ching scored two goals for San Jose last night, but national team star Clint Mathis also scored twice -- including a goal in thefinal minute of regulation -- as the Earthquakes tied the New York/New Jersey MetroStars 4-4 in East Rutherford, N.J.
Ching, a Kamehameha graduate, scored his first goal of the game in the 15th minute off a corner kick from Todd Dunivant. Ching also netted a goal in the 34th minute. He now has five goals this season.
San Jose (6-2-5) remains the leader in the Western Conference. The Earthquakes tied for the third time in four matches.
The game left the MetroStars (6-4-3) in a tie for first place in the Eastern Conference with the Chicago Fire.
Landon Donovan and Manny Lagos also scored for San Jose.

Major League Soccer camps in Hawaii
Major League Soccer will be presenting a series of camps at the Kalama Field from July 21-25. The official camp of the MLS will have training sessions for children from ages 5 and up.
The camp for 5 to 6-year-olds is $62 and runs daily from 9-10:30 a.m. or 10:45 a.m.-12:15 p.m. For soccer players 7 and older, camps will run from 3-6 p.m. and cost $101.
